How to choose a route
Start with the time you have. Five to seven days covers one country well. Ten to twelve days lets you add a second country or a remote park such as Kidepo.
Then think about the season. In the rains, routes with steep murram roads, like Bwindi or the Ngorongoro Crater descent, need a Land Cruiser V8 or Nissan Patrol. In the dry season a Prado handles most circuits.
Changing a route
You can take any itinerary as it is or ask us to change it. Common changes are an extra night near the gorillas, a slower pace between long drives, or a different border crossing.
Send us your dates and the parks you want. We reply with the route, the vehicle and a written quote.
