  • Day 2: Gorilla trekking permit day. 7:30am briefing at the Volcanoes NP park headquarters in Kinigi. Trek duration 1 to 4 hours depending on gorilla family location. 1-hour encounter with the gorilla family. Return to Musanze by early afternoon. Drive to Nyungwe (230km, 4 to 4.5 hours). Overnight in Cyangugu/Rusizi or at the Nyungwe camp.
